1. Record Preferences and Maintenance Settings - Click here for document 

2. Control Head must be removed from the aircraft and packaged securely.

3. Provide a document inside of the box with name, tail number, control head serial # and return address along with a certified check made out to Trio Avionics for $400.00 USD. (Credit Card accepted with fee)

4. Ship the Item to: Trio Avionics 1905 N. Marshall Ave. # 6 El Cajon, CA 92020.

6. In warranty repairs will be completed. Out of warranty repairs will be billed as a $250 flat rate fee. We will make contact with you before completing any out of warranty repairs.  

7. Control Head will be return shipped CONUS within 5-7 business days. Customer will receive a return notification email with tracking, installation instructions and a link to the appropriate AFMS which will replace the current Trio Autopilot AFMS in your aircraft. 

• This equipment must be installed by licensed personnel in accordance with all applicable regulations. In the case of installations in U.S.-registered aircraft, among other things. An aircraft logbook entry must be recorded per 14 CFR Part 91, sections 91.405 & 91.417
• This update is applicable to the Garmin G5 and the Aspen E5 and Aspen Pro Max.
